One of the things I love so much about Second Life is the ability to experience virtually what I’m not always able to experience in my real life. In my real life I don’t get to look out at the ocean every day the way I wish I could. I’m drawn to the water. It’s soothing to my soul and near every time I’ve gone to the beach in real life, especially the Pacific coast for some reason, I have what I can only term a spiritual experience. Naturally, I choose to look out at the water whenever I can when I’m in Second Life and my imagination works wonders. I’m transported back to my real life experiences and I can feel it again. I’m not an official blogger for many events only because of sheer lack of time. But this one I find most intriguing and couldn’t help myself.
It’s the first annual Sand & Sea Expo sponsored by Oceania Breedables and I’m actually excited to go and see what fun stuff there will be at this expo. It will only last for four days so there can be no procrastinating with going to check it out. Coming May 2nd and lasting only until the 5th. Check out this fantastic of list of participating stores:

During the expo there will be a Beachcomber Hunt that sure looks fun! You’ll be searching for pink sea shells all over the expo, every vendor will have set one out. When you click on them, you’ll either be lucky and receive a prize or you’ll be unlucky and you won’t. But after two hours have passed you’ll be able to try again to get the prize and you may even find some nice treasure if you dig deeper!
I also want to tell you a little about Oceania Breedables. They’ve been working hard for a year on bringing us a game featuring mesh, breedable, shape-changing sea creatures! And though they are still in development, you can stop by their main sim and pick up this adorable purple whale as a gift, and also find out about other hunts they have going on in which you can pick up more adorable sea creature plushies! http://slurl.com/secondlife/Wilderness/180/216/24
I don’t know if he (or she) has a given name by Oceania, but if so mine has been changed….to Beam. You can also take a look at one of Bamboo Nails’ brand new Spring Releases called Berry Blue above.
My look for the day while visiting Hana Aloha is a refreshing summer dress by Loordes of London that I picked up at Pre-Release SL. It’s called Pembroke and I’m wearing the Aqua Dip version. You can just make out my Slink mesh feet peeking out beneath the floor length mesh skirt. I tried wearing my Slink mesh hands but oh my I need some major practice to get them to work. I hate reading instructions and that often causes me unnecessary trouble. But I’ll get it. It was the same with my mesh breasts at first. I was terribly lost and wondering how all the ladies were managing to have these fabulous-looking breasts from the same thing I had purchased.
Get ready for sun and fun at the Beachcomber event coming May 2nd. Mark your calendars!
